Job Description


The Manufacturing Systems Business Analyst will lead the complete Manufacturing Information Systems lifecycle. His/her main responsibilities will be:



  • Participate actively in the implementation of Manufacturing information systems solutions

  • Provide process, solution, and application expertise and knowledge throughout the full lifecycle of system implementation (from requirements/design through to deployment and support)

  • Execute projects and provide organization oversight for complex systems involving the development and implementation of Manufacturing Information Systems solutions. (Primarily ERP and MES)

  • Define functional and technical requirements for ERP and MES solutions through client interviews and documentation analysis

  • Establish and maintain the required documentation (e.g. Functional specifications, Installation Qualification) as per the company Computer Systems Validation Procedure

  • Develop and execute software verification plans and system quality assurance procedures

  • Develop and improve processes, procedures and tools used in the execution of complex projects and software support

  • Provide onsite support for Manufacturing Software applications under IT scope

  • Ensure timely issue identification, resolution, and appropriate escalation

  • Act as a liaison between internal & external project team and the management


Qualifications



  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development of Enterprise Applications

  • 3 years experience on a similar role in a regulated manufacturing environment

  • Experience of an ERP and/or MES implementation in a Pharmaceutical or Medical device site

  • Proven experience in Software installation, configuration, development and deployment of Oracle E-Business Suite ERP (Inventory, BOM, Work in Process, Quality, Purchasing modules) and PL-SQL development skills in E-Business Suite

  • Experience integrating data and transactions to and from ERP with systems such as MES, CRM, Labelling and LIMS. Direct, hands-on experience with automated integration tools is a plus

  • Programming skills in MES development (.NET; C# and SQL language) and ability to quickly learn new software/applications is considered a plus

  • Must be a team player and an effective communicator, to enable communication with a wide range of stakeholders and cultures and at all organizational levels

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and respond flexibly

  • Excellent spoken and written French and English.
