Senior Process Specialist (m/f) Coating Solution Center

 

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for development of new or supporting existing processes and applications development


• Covering both pre-process and after process development for existing equipment and materials in the Oerlikon Metco portfolio


• Support multi-disciplinary team who has a passion for technology/applications


• Coordinate work flow with co-workers and effectively communicate with engineering and management


• Participation in cross training activities


• Routine work is performed with minimal supervision


• Support of the thermal spray coating process and inspections:
  
  
  
  • Incoming parts inspection (QCI)
  
  
  • Logistics
  
  
  • Writing Quotes and sending RFQ based on the engineering specifications
  
  


• Preparation and development / industrialization process lead from shop floor level, development stages monitoring and reporting


• Reading of drawings and technical documentation


• Traveling to visit suppliers or customers

 

We expect

• Ability to work safely with various processing equipment, chemicals and raw production materials


• Able to accurately read and follow detailed equipment operating and product process specific instructions


• Good computer skills, ability to accurately record process parameters, strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to handle delicate hardware


• Willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance


• Good command of English (level B2) and German (level C1)


• Basic understanding of the Thermal spraying process is a plus
