Application Engineer - Coating Solution Center

We develop elegant, proactive solutions that provide our customers with tangible financial benefits. For our Coating Solutions Center in Wohlen, Switzerland we are looking for a highly motivated

 

Responsibilities

• Being the technical interface for customers


• Simultaneously managing multiple projects


• Preparation of technical reports including quotations, work plans, project documentation, coating specifications and QA documentation


• Planning, coordination and execution of coating trials and campaigns


• Analyses lab results and run data, compiles the final report and makes recommendations


• Supports sales with technical input, product demonstrations and process evaluations


• Performs extended on-site know-how transfers, system acceptances, training sessions and customer support projects

 

We expect

• Technical university degree (masters or doctorate) and in minimum 3 years of practical work experience


• Excellent knowledge of general surface technologies - experience with thermal spraying is a plus


• Experienced in managing multiple international projects


• Solid know-how in interpreting technical drawings and documents as well as in solving problems under the pressure of market demands


• Good command of English (level B2) and German (level C1)


• Strong customer focus and business sense and the ability to break down large technical projects into manageable tasks and discuss activities and plans with non-technical team members


• Ability to summarize technical concepts and work activities in a clear, concise and efficient manner


• Open-minded personality with strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
