Plan Senior Analyst

 As a part of the Global Supply Chain Planning Department, Senior Planning Analyst will provide end to end support for the global sales and operations planning process, systems and predictive analytics. 
Scope of Responsibilities The Plan Senior Analyst is a key global & cross-functional role in driving DePuy-Synthes Trauma/CMF PLAN performance to a higher level. Supports design and drives improvements in S&OP maturity in the organization, including financial integration and scenario planning, by aligning stakeholders and enabling technology. This is also a role in advancing business analytical and modeling capabilities to provide increasingly sophisticated data-based decision support for global supply chain. Supports the maintenance, design and improvement of the supply chain reporting landscape. 
The Plan Senior Analyst overall responsibilities are:

• Navigate the diverse system landscape, support current and future data warehouse & tools,

• Develop meaningful reporting and scenario analysis to facilitate decision making,

• Create predictive analytics to support the S&OP process maturity via financial integration, inventory management and scenario planning.

• Create documentation to ensure business continuity and support the handover of tasks to other functions,

• Link with team members to assess, document and translate requirements into standardized reports,

• Support end to end analytics and demand & supply modeling,

• Understand & interpret data, identify issues, analyze causes, and provide well-reasoned conclusions and solutionsKey relationship

• This person will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders.

o Internal: S&OP, Demand and Supply Planners, Customer Service, Business Unit IT

o External: Consultants for benchmarking purposes.o 



 


Qualifications


Education 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

  • An advanced degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Engineering or Information technology is preferred.


Experience



  • A minimum of 4 year experience

  • Excel modelling

  • MS Access

  • Other programming language is asset

 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist

  • Ability to influence colleagues within the organization by using effective communication and presentation skills

  • Strong interest in global supply chains and the medical devices industry
