Responsibilities


• You are in charge of designing, developing and implementing occupational health and safety programs, initiatives and procedures for the Bio-Rad Cressier site.
• You make sure that the occupational safety and health measures are compliant with the standards and requirements of the Swiss authorities, as well as Bio-Rad Company and HSSE procedures and policies.


• You are responsible to manage the SDS (Saftey Data Sheet) 
• You are the first point of contact in case of questions or issues related to occupational safety and health: first aid treatments, ergonomics, vaccination, job hazards analysis program (OSHAS/EKAS), PPE.
• You conduct root cause analysis in the event of an accident/incident and promote training and campaigns in the area of risk prevention.
• You oversee the storage of hazardous waste and chemical products, you ensure regulatory agency compliance, and lead the HAZMAT Team.
• You prepare, implement, and manage HSSE programs, policies, procedures, reports and statistics.
• You are responsible to prepare and conduct daily and monthly HSSE meetings, trainings and inspections on site.
• You drive compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
• You ensure the organization and conduct of the First Aid group and the internal fire department.
• You are the owner of the Internal Operations-Plan (IOP) / Business continuity Plan for the Site
• You manage contacts/visits/contracts with third parties partners
• You are the representative for Cressier HSSE in Bio-Rad EMEA/global meetings and exchanges


Qualifications


• You have previously held a similar position for at least 3 years in an industrial environment, ideally in the pharma, biotechnology or medical device industry.
• You have a solid knowledge of Swiss regulations and standard requirements.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and technical writing would be a plus.
• You are comfortable using IT tools and visual management tools (boards, videos, etc.)
• You distinguish yourself by your rigor, your methodical and analytical approach, while knowing how to remain pragmatic and open to dialogue.
• You have good resistance to stress and can easily adapt to changes.
• Your mother tongue is German or French, with really good knowledge of the other language, and a good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level).
• You are willing to travel from time to time (max 20%)
