Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to complete our Project Management Team. In this role you will manage all aspects of projects like implementation plans, budgets, resources, stakeholders and the project teams to ensure a successful implementation in accordance with the waterfall or agile project management methodology. As part of a multi-cultural, service-oriented and dynamic team, you are enabling the banks business strategy, increasing efficiency and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.Key responsibilities

  • Manage business & IT projects of various sizes with various technical complexity by using different methodologies

  • Plan, structure and drive deliverables with multiple stakeholders in IT, the business and external vendors

  • Coordinate all aspects of projects from beginning to the end, including scope definition, requirements gathering, project planning, resource and budget planning, risk management and reporting

  • Ensure project deliverables both from an IT and non-IT perspective are met on time

  • Manage project financials and follow appropriate internal processes including sourcing, legal, compliance, security and finance processes

  • Defines critical to quality factors and ensures adherence

  • Deliver all required milestones documentations according to the bank’s project methodology

  • Facilitate sprint planning, execution, addressing impediments, stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives

  • Manage internal and external resources

  • Communicate major milestones to all involved parties (project team, stakeholders and leadership team)

Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years of delivering projects using agile methodology, preferably in financial services industry

  • Project Management Certification e.g. Scrum, PMP, IPMA

  • Experience in the Swiss Economic Environment is desired

  • Analytical mind with ability to grasp complex concepts and implement practical solutions

  • Strong IT and software development lifecycle understanding

  • Proven ability to successfully deliver strategic projects and interact with senior level stakeholders

  • Ability to negotiate, influence and manage teams or stakeholders at all levels

  • IT and business know-how

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Open minded, approachable with strong interpersonal skills
