We are looking for a highly dedicated


 


Senior Group Controller (100%)


 


Reporting to the Head Group Controlling, you drive the foundation for better insights and decision-making support. Being responsible as the Process Owner for tools and processes pertaining to Management Reporting, Planning and Controlling at Sulzer Group, you will spearhead and drive the activities to design, enhance and implement the respective tools, processes and guidelines.


 


Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities


Analytics and Tools



  • Design and develop framework of business-oriented financial, commercial and market intelligence reports through leveraging analytics, in line with roadmap defined by Group Controlling and Global Markets

  • Automate and improve reports that support business steering and performance monitoring on global, business unit or legal entity level

  • Drive the definition, implementation and roll-out of reports, closely interacting with finance, commercial, project, operations and IT colleagues

  • Ensure that the information output enhances business-relevant transparency that complements existing financial reports, enables faster and better report generation and provides timely communication to relevant stakeholders


Process



  • Lead initiatives and projects to streamline and align relevant controlling and reporting processes    

  • Harmonize and maintain management accounting & group controlling guidelines

  • Train controlling community on controlling tools and processes


 


Your Profile



  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in BA with a specialization in Accounting or Finance

  • >8 years of relevant experience in finance and controlling in an international environment

  • Strong SAP FI-CO and BW or QlikView knowhow a must, SAP-BPC of advantage

  • Analytically strong person with high energy to drive for result

  • Excellent communication skills, resourceful and possesses strong initiative

  • Attention to details and accuracy, and able to structure complex details to business-relevant breakdown

  • Ability to work independently and against tight deadlines

  • A flexible and adaptive team player with a positive attitude
