from a robotics project at the ASL (Autonomous Systems Lab www.asl.ethz.ch). We constantly
explore new technologies to increase our know-how, widen our horizons and expand our expertise in
electronics, asynchronous programming and product development into new fields such as
augmented reality or computer vision.
Our projects range from wearable devices for vital sign monitoring (consumer, professional sports,
medical research) to sensing systems (remote monitoring of pharma production processes, smart
metering, flight controllers), algorithm development (machine learning, image processing, 3D image
mapping, pattern detection), firmware (from consumer products to safety critical applications
(medical) - see also www.ConceRTOS.io) secure and encrypted firmware delivery and device
management (dms.leitwert.ch) to web apps (e.g. for energy data management in retail or data
collection in agriculture). We are also active in emerging fields like augmented reality applications.
With our solutions for connected products we master the key competencies to collect, store and
analyze large amounts of data.

Front End Software Engineer (f/m)

Objective

Develop beautiful and functional web front ends and apps for our products and custom client
projects with focus on usability.

Main responsibilities

Development, testing and maintenance of web applications.

• Plan, execute and deliver projects


• Testing, Documentation


• Design reviews


• Close collaboration with back end developers


• Sales support (support business dev. Team with your technical expertise)

Your profile

• Positive and open personality, independent, adaptive and proactive


• University master’s degree (ETH/UNI/FH in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or
  equivalent)



• 5 years of hands on experience in front end and web development



• Experience with cyber security is advantageous


• Exceptional programming skills in JavaScript, CSS, HTML and sound experience in web
  development


• Experience with TypeScript, Vue.js, Python and Django Web Framework advantageous


• Experience with Cross-Platform Mobile App development (e.g. Apache Cordova)
  advantageous


• Experience with 2+ different web frameworks desirable


• Know how in the field of medical grade development is advantageous


• Hands-On working attitude


• Fluent in English (German is advantageous)


• You love challenges and want to engage in a start-up
