Collection Manager Jewelry (temporary contract)

Referenznummer: R-21994You will find an attractive work place at our Consumer Goods Business and Finance & Administration Headquarters with about 500 employees. This is a temporary position, starting as soon as possible and ending in December 2019.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT


Your main duties will be the following:

- Setting up and keeping track of Critical Path of the Design to Launch or every collection and ensure that all parties adhere to the development schedule

- Ensuring timely delivery of drawings, 3D and prototypes as well as technical feasibility and product cost information for key decision meetings

- Ensuring that drawings and prototypes are in line with product marketing requirements from the marketing brief in terms of aesthetic and costs and product count

- Initiating alternative proposals if drawings and prototypes are not available for meetings in coordinating with Product Development

- Managing queries and alignments with Product Development and Creation Jewelry

- Acting as a Key Owner of regional PIP and ensure all timing and key gates are set

- Creating and maintaining product marketing data of new collection in Flexi PLM IT system until CR gate and ensuring product data in system for handover process from product marketing to SFL

- Ensuring proper handover of development process to Product Development & Innovation/Creation jewelry in alignment with Design to Launch

- Monitoring the product count according Marketing Brief

- Liaising with SFL/SCM Team to ensure products are ready to launch from Post CR to Buy Ready


WHAT WE EXPECT


We are looking for a motivated talent, who brings along the following background:


- 2-5 years of professional experience in a similar role within an international setting of a premium retail company


- Highly developed technical knowledge about jewelry product development


- Very good understanding of product marketing requirements


- Ability to translate the information to Product Development and Creation


- Highly developed technical knowledge about jewelry product development


- Business acumen, preferred from the fashion or premium goods business (FMCG/retail)


- Strong business ethics


- Previous project management and process management experience


- Open-minded, result-oriented and effective team player
