Job Description:


The Customer Business Senior Director (Sr. CBD) position is responsible for the overall management of the EMEAI Defense aftermarket business. This role will lead a team of CBDs and CBMs, responsible for all customer and commercial support of EMEAI customers. This will be responsible for leading growth activities, coordinating pursuit support from the Defense sales team, working with the C&PS function, for ensuring that all products and services are supported in an efficient and effective manner. The Sr.CBD is also responsible for meeting or exceeding all EMEAI financial and customer support metrics.


Responsibilities of Position:


-Responsible for defining and executing a customer business and support strategy that serves a diverse and complex customer base, in a proactive manner, anticipating customer needs and competitor actions.


-Providing leadership and strategic vision to Customer Business Director and Customer Business Managers, as well as mentoring and providing growth coaching to assigned Customer Business first level Directors


-Ensure Customer Quality and Reliability issues are identified and addressed thru cross functional influence. Provide direction and drive execution of the C&PS organization thru cross functional leadership


-Owns EMEAI business commercial relationships, including the achievement of growth targets, working capital metrics, and maintaining pursuit pipeline.


-Plans, executes, and manages campaigns to retrofit customer fleets with Service Bulletins, Retrofits, Modifications, and upgrades.


-Maintains oversight of HON performance to customer contractual obligations


-Plan, organize, and execute Honeywell executive visits to customers resulting in positive interchanges and improved business results


-Be accountable and responsible for the development of customer based Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and the coordination of those plans with the Product Managers within M&PM, including direction and leadership to the Technical Sales team to achieve targeted results


-Attain all customer financial goals including Revenue, Margin, Accounts Receivable and Growth. Sr. CBD will ensure Accounts Receivable is achieved with the ACC team, and contractual sales targets are achieved within the Technical Sales Team.


-Manage ACC and C&PS in collections and dispute resolutions


-Provide direct cross functional leadership to C&PS managers in the successful execution of day-to-day support requirements, achievement of OEM scorecard results and flawless EIS of new customer platforms, be accountable and responsible for close coordination and mutual attainment of Retrofits, Modifications, and upgrades target.


-Identify specific process improvement opportunities from an HOS Gold perspective, ensuring actions taken to achieve visible increases in performance metrics


-Drive for attainment of HOS Gold behaviors and results across their area of responsibility thru direct management as well as cross functional influence of peers


-Ensures systems and processes are in place for Honeywell product delivery, reliability performance including the translation of site based/product based improvement plans e.g. delivery and reliability to customer specific plans.

Qualification:


-Master's degree or equivalent work experience


-Minimum of 10 years Program Management experience; or in lieu of formal education, a minimum of 10 years Program Management experience may be considered.


-10+ years leadership experience in Aftermarket, OEM or International customer service/support or logistics related requirement


-5 years leadership experience in Aerospace industry, managing key managers or directors


-International Defense experience

-Business Acumen:Mature business and financial acumen to discern risks/opportunities of key strategic programs at customers and Honeywell.


-Customer Knowledge:Knowledge of the customers, key players in the organization, strategic direction, etc.


-Product Knowledge:Breadth and depth of product knowledge, for Avionics, Mechanical and Connectivity products, with the ability to understand, identify and clearly articulate specific value propositions relative to the competition.Ability to construct multiple product proposals, indicating potential system and services integration concepts and benefits.


-Program Management:Ability to manage multiple projects on time, report out on action status, and provide clear verbal, and written customer status.


-Communication skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knows when and how to communicate to optimize potential for success with customers and internal to Honeywell. Must be a good listener.


-Negotiations:Can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups, can win concessions without damaging relationships, gains trust quickly of other parties in the negotiations, able to close sales deals


-Impact / Influence:Ability to influence outside of one's sphere of control
