To support our Solution Delivery Department within the IT Subdivision, FIFA is looking to recruit an experienced person with the ability to work in cross-divisional teams as a:
Events IT & Solution Specialist
Your duties


  • Responsible for the event set-up activities throughout the FIFA event management IT ecosystem

  • Provide data creation and data updates central services across the Tournament and Events IT ecosystem

  • Consultative business analysis services to gather new business requirements, execute solutions gap analysis, document business processes and support incident management root cause analysis

  • Hands-on support to any related data architecture initiatives (governance models, data warehouse, reporting/analytics) with business data knowledge, data modelling documentation and logical/visual designs

  • Design, build and maintain reports, dashboards and other analytical content using Microsoft products (e.g. PowerBI)

  • Provide power user support to the relevant Tournaments and Events business Departments
Our requirements


  • Experience with Integrated Event Football System (IFES) is a must

  • Experience in data governance, data model and with accreditation systems operations for large events

  • Strong working knowledge of relevant concepts and technologies, including end-user support, digital workspace and collaboration

  • Proficient Knowledge in project management and production (raw data and aggregated content) in regards to print publications as well as electronic outlets (Intra-/Extranet, web)

  • Experience translating business requirements and objectives to be enabled by technology solutions

  • Excellent skills of databases and web tools

  • 5+ years of experience with business application IT support roles

  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science or engineering

  • Willingness to travel (1-3 competitions per year)

  • Work experience and great interest and knowledge in international football as well as deep understanding of the game itself
