Global Service Product Specialist (m/w)


Metrohm is a global leader in the instrumental and chemical analysis markets. Our more than 2’200 employees develop, produce, sell and maintain high precision measuring instruments for chemical analysis in laboratories and in industrial finishing processes. We are represented in more than 80 countries with our own agencies or exclusive distributors.


We are strengthening our Competence Center Service in the Sales and Marketing department and looking for a Global Service Product Specialist (m/w).


Your tasks:

  • Support selected local service organizations to standardize their service product portfolio.

  • Close the knowledge gaps at the local organizations by carrying-out service trainings on-site or at the Headquarter in Switzerland.

  • Define user requirements to further developing the current software tools used by our global service network.

  • Visit key customer sites, together with the local organization, to identify improvement opportunities and/or to deal with relevant service issues.

  • Create action plans to locally introduce improvement measures and coordinate with the management their implementation.

  • Collect Best Practice examples and share them with the global service network.


Your profile:

  • Electronic or chemical engineering, preferably university degree or higher, with affinity to software applications.

  • Significant experience in the service business or in electronics development, ideally in laboratory equipment or similar.

  • Self-confident, service oriented and problem solving personality.

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken), German is a plus.

  • Excellent teaching, communication and organisational skills. Cross-cultural awareness is essential.

  • International travelling for this position could be up to 50%.
