Position description


The Online Sales department is leading the development and operation of the Lufthansa Group’s online platforms. Our websites swiss.com, lufthansa.com and austrian.com are amongst the top ecommerce platforms in Europe and offer a variety of different products and services. In addition, our mobile apps accompany our passengers on their entire journey from inspiration to the final destination.


The overall digital travel ecosystem is dynamic, complex and growing rapidly. Key digital companies are investing heavily in travel and build new applications & software that will change the ecosystem and the customer interaction with digital travel services. Therefore, the Lufthansa Group is building a team to close partnerships with relevant digital companies in order to leverage competences on both sides and facilitate a deep collaboration on common initiatives and projects in order to shape the future of travel together.


As Digital Partnership Management Expert you will be responsible for identifying and managing potential partner companies, generate ideas for common initiatives, manage backlogs and act as single point of contact within the Lufthansa Group organization. You will coordinate between different internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Product and IT) and the partner companies and thus facilitate a structured collaboration on common initiatives.


Your Duties



  • Conduct research on relevant digital trends and identify potential partner companies

  • Support formulating strategies to enter partnerships with key digital companies

  • Derive specific actions and initiate relevant projects and initiatives

  • Present initiatives in front of higher management and organize board approvals

  • Work in close collaboration with other departments in implementing identified measures & projects

  • Liaise with partner companies and act as single point of contact within the Lufthansa Group

  • Organize and moderate workshops between internal stakeholders and partner companies

  • Support the Online Sales Management Team in the implementation of strategic projects


Requirements



  • Bachelor or Master degree in a Business, Management, IT or Technology related domain

  • High organizational and project management skills

  • Personal interest in technology, ecommerce and digital trends

  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Proactive attitude and ability to work self-reliant in complex organizational environments

  • Solution oriented and problem solving personality

  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Flexibility to travel
