Process Engineer Filling and Packaging in Cosmetics This engineering position is dedicated to the creation, optimization, analyzing and industrialization of our filling and packaging processes for our manufacturing locations of our third party manufactures and packaging suppliers in order to meet La Prairie quality, cost and capacity expectations. Within this role you are reporting to the Senior Manager Packaging Development. |
| Your responsibilities are |
| Being the main contact within the La Prairie organisation for all filling and packaging processes in all aspects Transferring of manufacturing location Implementing new and improved processes, technologies and equipment for filling and packing Managing existing equipment and process portfolio and ensure process equality within all our manufacturing plants Handling and follow up of complaints for out of spec due to production processes Creating packing procedures and taking care on implementation at all manufacturing locations Creating risk analysis (FMEA) and steer implementation Feasibility studies Collaboration with internal parties like quality, procurement and planning and external parties like packaging suppliers or institutes Developing and optimize simple packaging like transport packaging’s Driving for efficiency within our manufacturing considering LEAN production methods and digitalization (Industry 4.0) |
| Your Qualifications |
| Bachelor or Master Degree in the field of packaging, process or machine engineering or equivalent experience 3 or more years experience in the field of packaging & filling operations, ideally within the cosmetic or pharma industry Knowledge about continuous improvement process (Lean, Kaizen, 5S) Analytical and systematic working style Being proactive and being strong in problem solving Experienced in leading projects and project management Being a team player who likes to work in a dynamic environment and has strong communication skills Proficient in German and good knowledge in English are a must Travel mainly within Switzerland up to 60% |
