The opportunity

We are looking for a senior backend developer to join our small team of dedicated engineers working on the tutti.ch platform.

Your Job

• Write code to build robust and scalable software in collaboration with your colleagues


• Help improve our code quality through writing unit tests, sticking to code conventions and performing code reviews


• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products


• Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution

Your Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in server-side development in Golang, writing SQL and working with Postgres


• Experience writing automated tests required, experience with TDD is a plus


• Experience designing and implementing APIs and services using REST/JSON and gRPC/protobuf


• Experience in automating and monitoring, using tools like Grafana, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and more


• Working knowledge of Unix (Linux, OpenBSD) and version control systems required, any experience with Debian as a distribution considered a plus


• Experience with key/value-stores Redis, AeroSpike, MemCache etc. considered a plus


• Experience in writing concurrent software (parallel data processing, thread-pools) considered a plus


• Experience in SOA environments, APIs, services, domains considered a plus


• Experience with event-driven and pub/sub systems, Kafka, CQRS, RabbitMQ etc. is considered a plus


• Fluency in English
