Application Operations Specialist

The IT Operations department is looking for an Application Operations Specialist

Your responsibilities
As an Application Operations Specialist, you will operate a portfolio of Group central applications. Having a deep overall technical vision of their infrastructure landscape and software modules, you are one of their central IT stakeholders.
Your main tasks will be to provide 2nd level support and resolve or coordinate the resolution of incidents escalated to the Application Operations team between the Service Desk, 3rd support level and the suppliers.
By fulfilling Service Requests initiated by the Business or your IT colleagues, you maintain the necessary functional or technical level of the applications by performing software installations, updates and migrations. Additionally, you realize change Management on the applications after having analyzed the business needs. The team-oriented and recurring pattern of Service Requests requires you to manage a consistent and qualitative application documentation.

Your profile

You have an IT generalist profile with an interest in the layers above the Operating Systems

• Degree in IT or Computer Science with relevant work experience


• Good knowledge in Microsoft SQL language and SQL Server management


• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite user


• Comfortable with administering Microsoft Operating Systems (client & server)


• Software development experience is welcome


• Project management skills are welcome


• Knowledge in Oracle SQL language / Oracle SQL database management is an asset


• Autonomous and good team- player


• Strong communication skills


• Fluent in French and English (German is optional)

Professional requirements

• Degree in IT or Computer Science with relevant work experience


• Good knowledge in Microsoft SQL language and SQL Server management


• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite user
