As part of a global team of 10,000 professionals in 100 countries you will advise clients on preserving, optimizing, raising or investing capital. Major groups (or, as we call them, sub-service lines and competencies) within TAS include Mergers and Acquisition Services, Project Finance, Restructuring Services, Operational Transaction Services, Transaction Due Diligence, Transaction Tax, and Valuation and Business Modeling. We are now looking for one or more new team members to focus on the change management and organizational design topics during the transaction lifecycle, including pre-deal (e.g. due diligence and carve-out planning), post-deal (e.g. integration planning, tracking) and restructuring (e.g. rapid cost reduction).

Tasks that you promoteIn your role as an (Senior) Manager you will have responsibility for:

  • Leading work streams and delivering Operational Transaction Services to clients with an expertise in people and change management matters.

  • Develop experience of a range of different type of engagements, including pre-deal (e.g. Human Capital due diligence and carve-out planning), post-deal (e.g. integration planning, tracking) and restructuring (e.g. rapid cost reduction)

  • Creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that will drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees during the transaction

  • Designing an organization in multiple industries, including using benchmarks and leading practice to advise senior clients on the best organizational models. You will also know how to right-size an organization to meet both financial and operational goals.  

  • Supporting the overall transaction project teams in integrating HR and change management activities into their project plans

  • Lead (multiple) assignments and help develop the team's intellectual capital

  • Delivering a high degree of client satisfaction with the engagement process and deliverables and being able to drive additional and repeated engagements

  • Spearhead marketing efforts and build strong relationships with high profile clients

  • You would act as a role model and support development of junior team members, coupled with the recruitment and training responsibilities

Your profile to succeed togetherAs a (Senior) Manager your skills and qualifications ideally include:

  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 5 to 8 years of related transaction work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 4 - 7 years of related transaction work experience; a degree in Business, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HRD, or other related field.

  • Related certification a plus

  • Experience in the field of transactions (mergers, acquisitions or divestments etc.), with a focus on HR, Change Management and Organizational Development, and demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis in a professional service / consulting environment

  • A track record of successful project delivery in in complex business environments where you are responsible for managing project team members and vendors

  • Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to make detailed assessments of people matters to not only determine risks and opportunity areas, but also deliver solutions

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; further languages, such as German or French are a plus

  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas

  • A dedication to teamwork
