Finance Manager 100% (m/f)

Job Summary

In this multifaceted position you will be responsible for efficient and effective accounting services in transactional accounting areas. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the general ledger management, holding entities accounting, tax projects, intercompany improvements as well as the preparation of monthly financial statements.

 

Your main responsibilities:

• Preparation and maintenance of accounting records and financial reports in accordance with corporate guidelines, corporate time lines and generally accepted accounting principles with regards to all transactions of principle entities


• Supports the Finance Director in multiple migration projects, with special focus on product flow integration into “Hubco model” and 3rd Party Distributor’s buy-backs


• Coordinates efforts amongst all EMEA entities involved in various restructuring projects


• Acts as main point of contact for outsourced providers in Europe and India. Mentors these teammates on ongoing basis ensuring high quality of delivery


• Reviews and approves account reconciliations and ensures up to date quality of accounts


• Transactional accounting and financial close including review of intercompany balances reporting to parent company (HFM reporting and reconciliations)


• Responsibility for Monitor Compliance / FCPA / Screened Business Partners Processes


• Maintenance of internal controls to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

Your Qualifications and Experience:

• Master degree/ MBA/ CPA or similar required in accounting/finance


• 5-7 years of experience in a broad-based manufacturing environment is preferred


• Extensive knowledge of (USGAAP) accounting principles, financial close processes and CoA


• Additional Experience with Swiss GAAP is a plus


• Good managerial and communication skills


• Outstanding interpersonal and strong analytical skills


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle increasing levels of responsibility


• Sound computer skills including: Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and database management


• Experience with consolidation software, preferably Hyperion


• Ability to communicate in German and English both orally and in written form in a clear and concise manner

Travel Requirements:

Up to 10%.
