• A challenging Zurich-based management position within the UHNW credit risk team (Lombard) of the International Wealth Management (IWM) division


• You the unique chance to become the team head of a highly dedicated and experienced team of qualified credit officers (currently 5) being responsible for the management and development of the team, supporting the expanding and strategically important IWM lending business


• You the responsibility to  guide and assist credit officers in the assessment and management of complex and non-standard collateralized financing transactions, which features non-standard counterparty types or bespoke structures and includes single stock lending, risk concentrations across asset classes and derivatives (the credit analysis includes the full range of risk assessment – collateral, structural and recourse along with legal, cross-border and reputational risk considerations)


• A sophisticated internal business model with wealth management credit risk, in many instances, managed via a Zurich trading book complete with hedging possibilities


• You a transactional role with high profile client base requiring regular interaction with senior management and internal key business partners in cross functional deal teams such as Trading, Structuring, Legal and Market Risk along with other functions in the Credit Risk organization


• You personal credit decision authority as well as active involvement in risk-related projects whether it be as a subject matter expert or management sparring partner

You Offer

 

• Master in Economic Science or Banking & Finance, a CFA or GARP qualification would also be beneficial


• Managerial experience leading a team of specialists in a changing environment


• Minimum of 10 years of transactional banking experience whether in corporate/ private/ investment banking


• Experience in risk analysis, including derivatives, previous experience in corporate analysis would be helpful


• Broad knowledge of and interest in capital markets


• Fluent in English, further language skills – specifically German - would be an advantage


• Able to work as a senior member of deal team combining solid analytical and confident communication skills with a structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach


• Dynamic and able to motivate others to create a high performance team
