The Monitoring Capability Architect (TDA) is responsible for providing solution architecture for the monitoring portfolio and the capabilities made up from the portfolio. They ensure the capabilities are made up of the optimal products from a capability, risk and commercial perspective. The person will be responsible for helping drive application & infrastructure monitoring standards and best practices across our internal & public cloud environments. They will be required to keep current with industry trends and emerging technologies and provide guidance and technology standards that drive quality, adoption and performance. The role requires strong collaboration with Sr. leaders and stakeholders both technical and non-technical.

 

• Provides end to end product architecture to ensure the detailed design and development remains consistent with the overall monitoring product strategy and roadmap


• Develops full-stack and reference architecture designs for monitoring infrastructure across hybrid environments inclusive of private and public cloud platforms.


• Evaluation of commercial products’ architecture and APIs for integration with Credit Suisse’s infrastructure and strategic technology.


• Identifies solutions and formulates implementation and migration strategies.


• Creates prototypes and authors detailed technology interaction specifications.


• Provides expertise in technical knowledge, methodology and framework, data integration and data flows, Enterprise Architecture, and proof of concept software development and coding


• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs and prototypes


• Ensure that the portfolio applications’ infrastructure and security needs are architected for total scalability and performance.


• Perform solution walkthroughs with stakeholders and engineering staff.


• Evaluate new features and new capabilities to align to organizational and transformation needs


• Identify opportunities to improve the product offerings from a quality, controls & capabilities perspective while also defining best practices  


• Participate in strategy and road map exercises, architecture definition, product selection, application and integration design


• Play key roles in large projects. Technical Lead. Lead Architect.


• Participate and provide technical leadership in all phases of a project from discovery and planning through implementation and delivery


• Provide guidance and direction to the various developments, customers, and business groups on infrastructure and security technology standards that drive quality and performance


• Learn new things, and grow rapidly from constant exposure to innovative ideas, concepts, and patterns.


• Solves complex problems with many variables using various security, network, storage, and compute platforms.

You Offer

 

• 7 years’ experience designing and/or working with enterprise level software systems.


• A working understanding of microservices, containers, continuous delivery, reactive systems & cloud native architecture.


• Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively present technical approaches and findings.


• Thorough understanding of ITIL best practices and common IT Service Management processes


• Excellent collaboration skills


• Complex problem solving skills and analytical thought


• Ability to convey complex technical information both to engineers and senior managers


• Bachelor's degree required


• Building effective relationships with peer groups, clients & IT vendors


• Vendor management skills


• Experience of technical process analysis


• Understanding of IT environments in financial institutions
