For support of our Early Phase DSP Manufacturing Team at our Basel site (Switzerland) we are looking for a

  

Process Engineer (f/m) Downstream Process (DSP) Manufacturing

 

  Job description:

• Preparing and performing process steps for DSP Manufacturing of customer projects from cell harvest to drug substance formulation   


• Operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment (e.g. ÄKTA chromatography skids, TFF and other filtrations skids)


• Writing and reviewing GMP relevant documents including Master Batch Records, Change Requests, Deviations, User Requirement Specifications, etc.


• Continuously improving work flows in the GMP manufacturing area for enhancing efficiency and quality


• Reporting to the Team Leader Early Phase DSP Manufacturing

Qualification and skills: 

• Studies or professional education in Biochemical engineering, Biotechnology, or Technical Biology


• Willingness to work in clean rooms, industry experience in biomanufacturing favorable


• Hands-on experience with common large scale DSP equipment (chromatography and filtration skids) favorable


• Thorough understanding of process engineering concepts, knowledge of purification techniques for proteins favorable


• Empathic and solution oriented personality


• Team player with good communication skills


• Good English skills, German skills favorable
