Sandvik Coromant Trondheim, is a world-leading manufacturer of anti-vibration tool holders for turning, milling, boring and drilling, and we have a strong market position in minimizing vibration during machining. At our facilities in Trondheim, we are responsible for product development, manufacturing and market support. Our products are patented and branded under the name Silent Tools, and we distribute our solutions to industries worldwide.


To be in the forefront of digital transformation, we are increasing our efforts in digitalized solutions that amplifies both functionality and value for our customers. As these products will become even more important for future business success, we need to further strengthen our competence and capacity. To our R&D department in Trondheim, we are now looking for a Project Manager for Embedded Systems – someone who is excited by the opportunity to join a researching organization on this innovative journey and contribute with a strong project delivery.


Your mission


As Project Manager, you are accountable for our project delivery, mainly within Embedded Systems, but also for other development areas. Focusing on the release of new, digital products and solutions, you take responsibility for the whole project chain from planning to execution, along with managing resources, supply and risks. As you lead and coordinate your projects, you ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budget. You work closely with the project team and relevant experts, to leverage skills and create an agile process that leads to successful deliveries. With customer-focus as a major driver, you also ensure great cooperation with our stakeholders.

Your character


We are looking for someone with a degree in a relevant field of studies, or equivalent knowledge gained from working. You have extensive experience from project management, where we also value a certification from PMI and skills in project methodology such as Agile or Scrum. Knowledge of software and development of digital products is necessary, as is a broad technical understanding. Since we work in a truly global environment, you have great communication skills in Norwegian or Swedish, as well as in English.
