  The Technical Domain Architect (TDA) is responsible for architectural support of the Service Management product/tool suite. The successful candidate will work closely with the Service Management Technologies Product, Engineering & Support Leads, Infrastructure Architecture Leads and Service Management Office (SMO) team members including process owners and end users to provide subject matter expertise in the ongoing enhancement of the products & tools to facilitate and support maturing the Service Management operational and commercial processes. 
We Offer Credit Suisse's IT Ops Engineering team seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with the ideas, knowledge, and strengths to help us deliver a world-class monitoring platform. Using Agile development and Scrum/Kanban processes, this individual will be responsible for our efforts to raise the bar for operational excellence, performance, availability and automation. This Senior Infrastructure Engineer will align all designs with Credit-Suisse’s architectural standards and promote the adoption of monitoring/automation best practices. As a Senior Infrastructure Dev/Ops Engineer you will:

  • Assist in the creation and execution of APM strategies for modern application architectures hosted on public, private and hybrid cloud platforms.

  • Help promote a DevOps culture by introducing:



    • Automated testing

    • Continuous deployment

    • Self service

    • API frameworks


  • Design, produce, support and continuously improve our portfolio services

  • Increase the operational stability and efficiency of our services & platforms

  • Have an ability to influence others and achieve results

  • Create greater visibility of our portfolio’s capabilities within the lines of business and infrastructure teams.

  • Lead and collaborate with team members, technology partners and other stakeholders to create innovative solutions that achieve both personal goals and those set by organizational leaders and the team.

  • Function as an active member of an Agile team, consistently contributing to the team and its Agile practices (tools, common components, and documentation) and Scrum processes.


 


You Offer

 

  • Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subject; alternatively an equivalent education in one of these topics

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in systems management engineering & development

  • Experience in implementation of, or usage of, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Wiley or similar APM solutions

  • Strong knowledge in Java, JavaScript and/or C#, ASP .NET development

  • Shell scripting: Python, Bash, Powershell, GoLang

  • Experience with: Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Salt

  • Software packaging knowledge for Linux (RPM) and Windows (MSI)

  • Software engineering in Java/JEE or Microsoft ASP .NET

  • Understanding of security controls such as :SSL, certificates, encryption, proxyies etc.

  • Fluent written and spoken English

  • Experience in performance troubleshooting of java applications, .net applications and SQL

  • Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills and ability to own problems through to resolution

  • Understanding of Incident/Problem and Change Management disciplines

  • Be available to provide on-call support for monitoring and automation tools during business hours, nights and weekends

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and written communication skills to frequently interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work both independently and within cross functional project teams than span multiple time-zones.
