Position Responsibility Summary:



  • Reporting to the Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), the Material and Supply Planning Director, Homes is responsible for the Material and Supply Planning function across all our Homes Factories WW.


Strategic responsibilities



  • Provides strategic direction for Material and Supplyplanning function and related ISC activities and assists in the development of the business strategy planning document.

  • Develop and execute supply chainstrategies for increased customer satisfaction, delivery,working capital management, material planning strategies ,across OEM, Trade, Intercompany channels.

  • Ensure that Supply Chain projects are successfully executed in a timely manner related to AOP objectives and STRAP objectives.

  • Build consensus across functional and lines of business, working with multiple internal and external customers and stakeholders.

  • Drive culture change, accountability and continuous improvement mindset throughout the organization.


Operational/Financial Responsibilities:



  • Develop, execute, and meet the objectives of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

  • Drive sites and BTSto achieve/surpass financial commitments across Supply Chain, Inventory, OTTR, OTFP, DOS, Stock Attainment.

  • Provide customer interface and support as required on a daily , weekly, monthly basis

  • Provide oversight and leadership across Supply chain ensuring key performance levels are maintained and executed in a timely manner

  • Execution of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, especially Operations planning across each site.

  • Drive integration of key elements of Supply Chain to improve cycle time aligned with AOP.

  • Ensure all sites and BTS function achieves On Time Delivery, growth and Inventory goals.

  • Liaise with sourcing activity on key material replenishment activities across all sites and BTS.

  • Improve and develop organizational capabilities through effective performance management and planning/utilization of human resources.

  • Champion programs to Supply Chain activities, excellent communications, and provides a structure to support operational and strategic goals.

  • Provide functionalleadershipdirection across Supply Planning Operations Leaders .


Major goals and objectives:



  • Year-over-year improvements in Inventory, DOS, OTTR, OTFP, Stock attainment across all levels of the supply chain

  • YOY improvements in warehousing and distribution costs as a percent of sales

  • Partnership with ISC Leadership, Line of Business VP/GM and finance to overdrive improvements in Cost of Goods Sold to fund growth for the business

    20 Lead teams

    20 Improve Operating System s

    20 Monitor material plans

    20 Oversee new production introduction (NPI)

    20 Develop talent resources



Basic Qualifications :



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline

  • Proven track record of operations experience, especially within a materials background.

  • Extensive and varied managerial experience.


Additional Qualifications :



  • MBA preferred

  • Ability to lead within a highly matrixed organization

  • Ability to effectively drive improvements and be seen as a strong team oriented leader.

  • Extensive experience or knowledge of Sales, Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) andlean manufacturing excellence

  • Must have demonstrated strong skills in supply chain management, managing material planning teams, partnering with business management teams, and delivering corporate level reporting requirements.

  • Ability to develop, execute and achieve tactical and strategic initiatives through active leadership that positively impact business plans, operating profits, practices, policies and procedures.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

  • Ability to effectively select, develop, coach, empower and motivate others across all functions within the supply chain.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • International experience preferred
