The shall support the successful launch and monetization of software offerings through the ACT Honeywell Buildings Technology (ACT HBT) business with specific focus on the ordering, licensing and revenue collection process. The successful candidate would work closely with order management, product marketing, digital operations, corporate IT, field service & sales, key business partners, finance and senior management to develop a scalable product commercialization process, optimize the operational efficiency of the process and tools and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Specifically, he/she must be responsible for:
Strategy & Planning
Drive innovative solutions to address the global needs for SaaS commercialization.
Work and influence business stakeholders across the company to understand their SaaS operational requirements.
Define and refine the vision and strategy for a global SaaS operational structure by partnering with marketing, digital operations, sales, R&D and finance.
Lead the requirements analysis for future software commercialization tools and develop a comprehensive business case and high level implementation plan for new tools to support SAAS offerings.
Be an active contributor to the positioning of ACT as the Centre of Excellence in software commercialization.
Collaborate closely with the IT Business Partners across business units to align the IT roadmap to business process needs.
Business Operations
Partner with marketing, order management, finance and digital operations functions to define the business process flow and develop functional flows from order to cash for ACT HBT software offerings with a strong focus on the ordering, licensing and invoicing parts.
Assist the offering management teams for key products to successfully identify, develop and launch new products and collect incremental revenue.
Manage delivery of multiple product release offerings in the connect services portfolio
Implement software pricing strategies within current tools such as part numbers setup in SAP, licensing in related tools and invoicing models. Align value pricing strategies with practical revenue collection capabilities.
Ensure the correct functioning of pricing tools and appropriate integration with back end systems.
Organize training for the order management team regarding new offerings processes.
Supervise third party team for the subscription reporting and invoicing tasks
Collaborate with marketing, digital operations, sales, R&D and finance to continuously improve the process efficiency within ACT HBT and ensure a seamless experience for customers and business partners.
Managing business expectations, being proactive in planning for fiscal quarters and annual planning, and building excellent partnerships with various leaders within the company
Program & Project Management
Establish and maintain a project management framework for the internal ACT HBT tasks related to the launch of a new offering.
Use structured processes to manage programs/projects.
Establish, track and promote metrics to improve program effectiveness.

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate would be a high-energy, gritty, creative and resourceful self-starter who demonstrates leadership skills and instincts. He/she would be smart and enthusiastic, results oriented and with a commitment to excellence. In terms of personal competencies, the successful candidate must be a hands-on person who possesses the best combination of strategic thinking, drive to achieve tangible business results and a team player. The candidates must be able to balance theoretical thought with practical. In addition, he/she should possess the following competencies:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in similar role. He/she must have a history of successful operations, strategic planning, product management or project management roles. An undergraduate degree in an analytical (e.g. economics, math, engineering, etc…) or technical discipline is required. An MBA is highly desirable.
