Senior Treasury Data Integration Analyst

Expedia's Treasury Capital Markets team is responsible for managing cash and investments in over 50 currencies across multiple corporate entities. In addition, the Treasury Capital Markets team manages foreign currency exposures resulting from over $88 billion of yearly transactions in over 75 countries. The team works closely with tax, accounting, and legal to ensure liquidity and funding for the global business entities.
 

Senior Treasury Data Integration Analyst plays a critical role within Expedia’s Global Finance department by supporting the Treasury Capital Markets team in key functions, including, but not limited to:

What you’ll do:

• Assist in defining Treasury data architecture and direction to ensure software solutions are built within a consistent framework


• Participate in the definition of and the implementation of Treasury’s core data infrastructure and standards


• Create design documents that ensure consistency in development across the department


• Execute the consolidation, transformation, and migration of data from many source systems to facilitate analytic processes within Treasury


• Identify and document data milestones


• Assume ownership and responsibility for data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of data


• Assist in administration of Treasury Workstation (Kyriba) and facilitate timely resolution of JIRA tickets, as necessary


• Assist in developing and maintaining Treasury reporting dashboards


• Contribute to multiple technical projects at one time

Who you are:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Data Sciences, Computer Science, or related field


• 2+ years of experience in a Data Specialist/Analyst/Architect capacity


• Exceptional knowledge of relational databases with a developed competency around MS SQL Server, MySQL, or other RDBMS


• Has understanding of data quality tools, including hands on experience in data cleansing, data enrichment, and data manipulations


• Skilled in Logical Data modeling and in Physical Data modeling


• Proficient with development of data strategy and policies


• Understand data movement standard methodologies in a large data volume environment


• Understand strategies to build an optimized and high-performing solution


• Has familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, MS Power BI), preferred


• Possess superb communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to explain technical details and challenges to a wide variety of audiences


• Possess ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative and fast paced environment


• Has experience utilizing cloud technologies and services with Amazon AWS, preferred
