For our Headquarters in Basel we are currently looking for a Global Project Manager - Regenerative to join our Team.

Your tasks

• Act as connecting, guiding and organizing element between all stakeholders involved in the Biomaterials business, mainly Global Product Management, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, Process & Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Corporate Logistics (“Chief of Staff” Function to Global Head Biomaterials)


• Lead and manage projects in alignment with PLM department and its established processes, preparing and participating in the respective meetings (PPG, GEMBA etc.)


• Leading the development of execution plan for medium to large multi-phased project with external dependencies


• Complete projects focused on launch date by ensuring adherence from stakeholder, determined scope, quality, time and cost


• Ensure global launch readiness for new products in coordination with Product Managers, Global Regulatory, Corporate Logistics and track/ manage launch together with the above as well as local partners


• Own the overall market introduction of Straumann products in late markets following introduction in first wave markets (Europe and NAM)


• Track, initiate and control regulatory projects based on commercial prioritizatio


• Conduct monthly review with logistics and involved PM on change of product forecasts


• Schedule and organize regular calls and follow up between Global, Regional and National Product Management Biomaterials


• Support Global Head PM Regenerative in keeping track of ongoing projects, managing involved partners throughout the Straumann organisation and external suppliers


• Together with Global Head PM Regenerative define overarching MarCom and training /education strategy and develop material/content


• Observe and track product life cycles including launch and phase out


• Manage, identify and leverage Key Opinion Leaders

Your profile

• Educated to a degree level (technical, life sciences or business administration)


• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management in a regulated environment, preferably in the medical device industry (ideally in the Regenerative area), additional sales or product management is a plus


• Proven track record in achieving objectives and targets


• Comfort in working within a fast-paced, global business environment is a must


• Multinational minded individual, fluent English and German spoken and written, any other language an advantage


• Energetic, straight forward and performance driven professional with entrepreneurial spirit and strong execution abilities


• Strong analytical skills and result orientation, broad intellectual curiosity and general interest


• Strong interpersonal skills, and pro-activity to cultivate a network of productive relationships in an international matrix environment


• Ability to achieve results in a pragmatic way in a dynamic and innovative organization


• Strong communication skills in a multi-lingual environment
