Role purpose 

This is an exciting entry position where you will act as a HR Project & Support Specialist for various HR Projects and support the Head of HR Switzerland in the areas of organization, communication and administration. The position can be filled full time or part time (80%).  


Accountabilities

  • Drive and support local HR Projects at all stages

  • Project Management Office: coordinating, implementing, monitoring and completing various projects (e.g. election of employee representatives, update employee regulations and social plan, public holiday calendar, apprentice camp and various ad hoc projects across all HR topics and areas)

  • Preparing correspondence, minutes, presentations and reports

  • Planning, preparing and coordinating meetings, conferences and events

  • Maintaining and archiving of important data and various share points

  • Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements

  • Processing expense claims and invoices

 

Qualifications

 
Minimum education and critical knowledge required 

  • Bachelor (or Master degree) in HR, Psychology, Economics, Labor Law or other Social Sciences

  • Good understanding of Project Management

  • Proficient in German, French and English 

  • Strong communication, organization and presentation skills

  • Strong team player

  • Able to see the bigger picture and use this to work out next steps

  • Able to present complex information and data in a simple and understandable way

  • Enjoys taking the initiative and has a can do attitude 

  • Can cope with multi-tasking, ambiguity and situations that change rapidly

  • IT literate (Microsoft office products)


Experience required 

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position in an international environment would be desirable

  • Experience in the area of social partnership and/or Swiss Labor Law would be desirable
