Head Test Management


In this exciting position, you will lead Test Management for the whole bank and work closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure adherence to business needs and quality standards on new systems, process developments and changes to existing systems. You will own the Testing Strategy, Methodology and Framework for the bank and drive its roadmap. Further you are in close collaboration with an offshore testing team and driving test automation. You will be a central part of a multi-cultural, service-oriented and dynamic Test Team enabling business strategy, increasing efficiency, and adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Team leadership for onsite and offshore test management teams

  • Define overall test strategies, testing methodology and framework and design test processes to ensure adherence to the quality standards for the Bank (functional and technical)

  • End to end responsible for all test activities in the bank including functional and technical (Stress, L&P, Security testing) as well as test automation

  • Owns test management and test automation tools and processes and drives their evolution and roadmap

  • Elaborate test execution plans for projects & programs and ensure timely and quality delivery of test services

  • Develops interfaces and relationships with business and IT stakeholders in the various testing activities

  • Continuous improvement
    of services and documentation of banks test procedures and approaches

  • Owns testing budget including 3rd party testing vendors budget

  • Collaborates with IT in terms of Test environments management and test environments releases

  • KPI and performance monitoring

  • Continuous Service Improvement in the testing space

Your profile

  • Bachelor in Engineering, Economics or IT-degree with financial background and minimum 8 years’ experience in Test Management

  • Minimum 3 years in a line management positions

  • Experience in the Swiss Economic Environment is desired, experience in Financial Industry is a plus

  • Excellent analytical mind skills with good problem solving abilities

  • Ability to grasp complex systems and to implement practical solutions

  • Organizational skills – ability to organize and work to tight deadlines

  • Good understanding of banking applications, testing methodologies and tooling

  • Experience in enabling and execution of test automation

  • Very good Excel knowledge, good understanding of databases and SQL

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in all levels

  • Fluent in German and English
