For our location in Allschwil/Basel we are looking for a

QA Specialist(m/f)

Position Summary:

The position holder is responsible to file documents, write, review and approve GxP related documents and supporting high level quality standard within the Comparator Business Unit.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Archiving and filing of documents

  • Supports preparing/approving certificates of origin / pedigrees as requested by clients.

  • Applies Good Distribution practice in all areas of responsibility.

  • Preparing and approving FFU statements.

  • Serves as deputy point of contact for all questions on quality related to Comparator.

  • Works hand-in-hand with other FCS departments in order to assure harmonized procedures across the site.

  • Continually contributes to improving processes to operate in a high state of efficiency and quality.

  • Demonstrates and drives the Thermo Fisher values – Integrity, Intensity, Involvement and Innovation (The Four I’s).

  • Participates in regular coordination meetings.


Education & Experience:

  • Minimum pharmaceutical technical assistant/chemical technical assistant

  • 1+ years minimum experience within pharmaceutical or pharmacy environment

  • Quality driven work style


Ability & Skills:

  • Superior analytical and problem solving and communication skills

  • Good computer skills and good math skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good organizational skills and self-direction

  • High level of accuracy and efficiency

  • Proficiencies with MS Office / Adobe products.
