Job-description


Digital IC design lead to architect and specify digital subsystem of mixed signal ASICs to achieve the customer application requirements.
As a project lead you will be responsible for the overall digital design where you will need:



  • To define, architect, and write ASIC design specifications.

  • Partition designs, make assignments and manage other designers both internal and external off-site contractors.

  • Utilize RTL design to implement various communication protocol encoding/decoding, memory management interfaces and analog circuit control blocks.

  • Utilize low power digital design techniques to achieve overall power consumption targets.

  • Design ad hoc test interface and/or design for scan insertion to guarantee overall IC testability.

  • Lead designs from concept to silicon validation.

Your profile



  • BSEE/MSEE from established university

  • Minimum 8 years experience in digital IC design

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites or parent company maybe required

  • Teamplayer, flexible, interested, selfstarter and motivated

  • Good communication skills

  • Must like to work in a multicultural environment

Must be a US citizen or valid green card holder


Professional requirements



  • Fluent in Verilog and System Verilog languages; VHDL helpful

  • Proficient in RTL coding, clock domains definitions, simulation, debugging, and defining constraints for synthesis and static timing analysis (STA), and back annotated timing closure

  • Analyzing dynamic power consumption and inserting clock gating or alternate logic design techniques as needed to achieve consumption targets

  • Test mode interface design and/or scan insertion to achieve desired test coverage

  • Experience with UVM test methodology and working closely with verification team helpful

  • Contribute to top level verification with analog modelling to verify system use case and test modes

Preferred additional experience and a plus would be:



  • Familiar with C/C++ and SystemC programming languages

  • Knowledge of RFID protocols helpful but not necessary


Language Skills



  • English fluent is a must, any other language is an advantage
