For its location in Allschwil (CH), close to Basel, Abbott Established Pharmaceutical Division (EPD) is looking for a

Senior Financial Analyst - Inventory

Main Responsibilities

In this challenging role, you will be responsible for the financial management including planning, analysis and reporting of EPD Inventory. P rimary Duties and Responsibilities of the Job may include:

Financial management of Division Inventory and Cash Flow initiative including:

• Inventory planning and analysis including variance reporting against Division and Corporate targets


• Monthly reviews with regional hubs measuring performance against pre-determined Inventory/DOH targets


• Collaborating with Global Planning in developing and implementing sustainable Inventory reduction programs as part of the overall Division Inventory management plan


• Providing support to Regional Finance personnel in respect of DOH methodologies and Deferred Margin planning and analysis


• Interfacing with the Commercial Affiliates and Distribution Hubs on Inventory management related matters


• Supporting other Inventory related activities and projects that may arise


• Support other Operation Cash flow Initiative ( DPO )

Other:

• Actively participate in goal selection and other initiatives supporting the Global Supply Chain organization


• Preparation and presentation of Inventory Plans to Senior Management


• Ensure ongoing adherence to Local and Corporate Financial Policies and Procedures


• Provide ongoing support to Supply Chain Senior Finance Manager in respect of day to day Supply Chain finance activities

The profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.


• Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) an advantage


• Minimum of 5 year experience in Operations Finance


• Inventory planning and reporting experience within a multinational environment


• SAP literate


• Supply Chain or Manufacturing experience


• Cross functional leadership skills and an ability to meet strict reporting deadlines


• Strong communication, presentation and teamwork skills


• English mandatory, additional languages appreciated
