Main Responsibilities


In this agile position, you will take on both roles as Master Data Coordinator and OTC Specialist. P rimary Duties and Responsibilities of the Job may include the following:


As Master Data Coordinator , you will efficiently and independently execute the processes for material/customer/vendor master creation, their maintenance and follow up for all materials/customers/vendors which are globally managed. You will support the end user community with operational issues and help strengthen and extend the master data processes under the scope of the team currently. This will also include definition of business rules, common definitions and data cleanup plan, governance best practice and guidance throughout the organization in close contact with Global Process Expert Master Data:



  • Create and maintain material masters for finished products, intermediates, raw material, packaging materials, medical devices and service materials according to established Global Procedures

  • Initiate and follow up the data collection process for APO by ensuring that the required information for material master set-up is provided in a timely manner to ensure system readiness for product launch dates

  • Create and maintain customer and vendor master data for global and local organizations according to established global procedures

  • Manage the master data tasks relating to the NPI process

  • Support the writing, review and verification of standard procedures for the operation process under the scope of the Master Data Team

  • Identify areas of opportunity within the master data processes which need improvement to meet changing company needs and incorporates technological cost effective improvements that will increase efficiency of operation

  • Analyze and solve master data problems and provide support for efficient daily operation of the master data processing system

  • Support the implementation of global Data Governance Model, Processes & Policy by assisting GPE Master Data with the design, build, and test of new SAP Master Data Management/Governance Structure

  • Supports the master data creation activities in relation to project activities

  • Generate and publish all team related KPI’s


As OTC Specialist , you will be responsible to design, implement and optimize processes within the Sales and Distribution (SD) area under supervision of the Global Process Expert of Sales and Distribution, to initiate or support all improvements within the SD area and to represent the Global Supply Chain during projects:


 



  • Ensure the system and the processes design are set up in order to cover all EPD Supply Chain requirements under supervision of the SD Global Process Expert

  • Lead projects or improvement initiatives in the SD area

  • Analyze the Global Supply Chain processes and propose improvements aimed at improving the overall efficiency

  • Supervise and optimize the Global Supply Chain Data processes

  • Develop tools for the data analysis (operational lists, statistics, ad hoc reports...)

  • Ensure the users are performing their activities according to the agreed procedures

  • User training organization and follow up including writing Global and local Supply Chain related operating procedures (manuals)


The profile



  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree (preferred) in Business or Technology or equivalent experience

  • SAP user and implementation experience

  • Knowledge regarding  functionality within SAP system and how master data affect it, integration knowledge with the SAP FI/CO MM, WM, SD, PP, and BW modules

  • Experience in supply chain and sales activities, knowledge of supply chain issues (Order Management, Logistic Management)

  • Manufacturing background, international experience and APO knowledge would be an asset

  • Exceptional interaction skills with the ability to develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Capability to act as an interface between business and IT

  • Strong detail orientation and a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to act in a complex and rapidly changing environment

  • Customer oriented

  • Pro-active behavior, reliability and experience on communicating skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Visio and advance Excel formulas

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, any other language would be an asset
