Abbott Established Pharma Division (EPD) is looking for a
 

Senior Manager - Project Management & Strategy
 

for our global EPD Headquarter based in Allschwil/Basel, Switzerland.

Primary responsibility:

End to end design, detailing, execution and project management of key projects of Established Products Division. The position is responsible for working with and/ or leading cross functional teams across the commercial geographies. The job involves being integral part of EPD Strategic Project Management Office team reporting to Senior Director PMO.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Develop long range vision of the needs of EPD, anticipate the impact of business trends and prepare strategic plans to accommodate business changes while meeting the overall goals of the organization


• Identify and conduct detailed design of strategic / transformational initiatives and projects, bringing in best practices and insights from internal and external sources (market, competition and other industries) into the project design.


• Lead cross functional teams – across commercial, operations, HR, finance and product development functions on these transformation projects.


• Own the execution and delivery of chosen transformation projects and ensure regular problem solving, tracking and de-bottlenecking. Handle 3-4 projects in parallel at any time. Each project to be delivered accountably with clear deadlines and outcomes (defined KPIs)


• Influence EPD leadership team members on changes arising out of key project recommendations, with sound logic and supporting insights


• L ead cross functional teams and influence with logic, judgement and data, as opposed to direct reporting responsibilities

Minimum Education:

Graduate from a reputed institute; MBA from a reputed institute highly preferred

Minimum Experience/Training Required:

• 6-8 years of total experience required, of which 4-5 years in management consulting with a top tier firm is preferred.


• Prior experience in driving strategic projects and cross functional teams is a must.


• Prior experience in any of the emerging markets in purview
  (Asia Pac, Middle East and Africa, Russia and CIS) is a must.


• Prior experience in pharma / healthcare industry strongly preferred.
