Postdoctoral Fellow

In depth characterizations of solid-state-batteries

Your tasks

• Electrochemical characterization of solid state batteries and their components


• Advanced characterization of solid state batteries by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and FIB-SEM/X-Ray tomographic microscopy


• In depth characterization of solid state batteries using advanced operando techniques (lab scale and large scale facilities)


• Publication of results in scientific literature

Your profile

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a PhD degree in chemistry or material science. A strong experience in electrochemistry or polymer chemistry would be a great asset. A very good communication as well as presentation and writing skills in English are required. The experimental work will be performed at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Villigen.
