Finance Director
DACH Supply ChainThe Worldwide End-to-End Trauma and DACH Regional Supply Chain Finance Director is responsible for evaluating the financial performance; assessing and quantifying risks and opportunities for the business unit/region. The position provides short and long term forecasts and recommends strategies for improvement. The position has direct contribution to the development of End-to-End supply chain strategies and is responsible for executing that strategy for positive financial/operational results in a compliant manner. The position provides support to the supply chain segment leadership while playing a significant role in the, development, preparation and standardization of management reports for the franchise/sector business unit results. The role has oversight of multiple legal entities and collaborates very closely with the Tax Department on tax strategy and compliance. This role leads the DACH region finance organization of 50-70 finance professionals. He/she is a core member of the DACH Operational leadership team and the DePuy Synthes Supply Chain finance leadership team.


Qualifications


Required skills

  • Minimum 8 years business experience in some of the following areas Finance, Budgeting, Manufacturing, Project Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Source Finance 

  • 4-6 years of people management experience

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams in the following areas: financial analysis & reporting, asset/liability management, portfolio management, budget and control, ability to combine business needs with functional objectives

  • Management Practices, Ability to influence others in a matrix organization, Ability to manage diverse cultural environments, Enterprise  mindset, Familiarity with Credo values, Ability to develop talent and organizational culture

  • Technical skills: Computer competency, Financial and Accounting Acumen, Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills

  • Languages: English, German (not required but preferred)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record influencing and leading people and interacting with senior level management.   

  • Process-oriented individual with the ability to develop strategic/tactical plans. 

  • Strategic Thinking, Collaboration and Teaming, Prudent Risk Taking, Results and Performance Driven

  • Strong understanding of financial, operating and business factors relating to the business unit and sector
