Senior System Engineer

You are required to bring related know how, certifications and work experience.
Implement and maintain MS server platforms and ensure best practice and cost efficient setup
Cloud Solution Implementation, Operation and Management
Monitor infrastructure and systems
Ensure optimal quality
Provision of support, troubleshooting assistance and technical advice
Operate and manage the global infrastructure
Liaising with vendors and partners
Ensuring documentation of infrastructure and systems
Share functional responsibilities within team
Perform other duties as required
Collaboration with field engineers in Europe
Routine health-checks and proactive monitoring of network environments
Constant optimization of monitoring and alarming tools
Teamwork and communication with various teams to ensure project delivery
Documentation of implementation and changes
Participation in ON-Call duty
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
• Advanced English communication skills
• At least 5 years of proven experience as IT support and system engineer
• Valid and up to date Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, RedHat or other certification
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Analytical and logical thinking
Professional Competencies:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Server Platform
• OS, AD, Exchange, SQL
Microsoft Office 365, Sharepoint Online, Azure Directory
Competencies to fulfill functional responsibilities
Client Infrastructure experience
• Desktops, Thin Clients operation and management
• Data Protection (Backup) and Security
Virtualization
• VMware or HyperV Operation and management experience
Infrastructure knowledge
• Servers, Network and Communication requirements and experience
Backup and security solutions for corporate infrastructure
Knowledge and experience in the following technologies is an advantage:
• Citrix XenApp Platform
• VMware Virtualization
• Linux networking administration
