Head of Finance Shared Services


 


The Head of Finance Shared Services is responsible for the finance shared services as well as for the implementation, management and control of transactional financial processes (R2R, O2C, P2P) across Sulzer.


 


Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities



  • Overall accountability for building, standardizing and maintaining respective transactional finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) throughout the Sulzer finance operating model on a global basis

  • Leading and managing Sulzer’s finance shared services, and overseeing the operation of the current shared services footprint

  • Accountable for end-to-end process management, including people performance-, operational-, technical- and process data- related aspects as well as process performance overseeing and steering throughout the entire Sulzer finance services organization

  • The Head FSS interacts with the key process stakeholders to ensure that process related guidance is followed and that process related tasks / actions are implemented according to the Global Process Standards

  • The Head FSS is required to liaise with the shared services related activities and stakeholders and to oversee the tasks performed by Global Process Leaders


 


Your Profile



  • We expect a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, a Master is a plus

  • 8 -12 years of experience in Accounting or Finance with 6+ years of experience in process areas (R2R, O2C, P2P) and/or shared services department

  • Proven process management knowledge and experience (e.g. agile finance process modelling methodology, business process management)

  • Robust process understanding from the content and technical IT perspective

  • Ability to interact with process stakeholders at various levels and to provide executive sponsorship to global process leaders

  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, internally and externally

  • Very good problem solving and organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives, focus on details and good analytical skills

  • Strategic thinker, detail oriented, structured

  • Proficient MS Office, incl. Excel, good understanding of integrated ERP

  • Excellent fluency in English, German is a plus
