Finance Manager
This person would be a member of the Finance & Treasury team and is located in Zug and reports to the Finance Controller – Finance & Treasury Lead. The tasks and duties include the following:
Managing directly or indirectly a team of about 7 people based in Zug and Schaffhausen
Provide finance & accounting support to different business partners in Zug, Berne and Schaffhausen:
Support Schaffhausen and Berne Controlling business in day to day activities
Preparation of different BRAVO (Actual and Forecast) and LR reporting / commentaries – mainly on BS positions
Monthly/Quarterly closing activities in collaboration with business partners and shared services
Provide fixed asset accounting services across Switzerland (mainly Zug, Berne and Schaffhausen)
Preparation of FLUX and FX analysis (Schaffhausen and Berne)
Review of VeevaVault vouchers and Blackline account reconciliations
Partnering business leaders to deliver financial commitments and service level agreements
Proactively drive people development and coordinate rotations with the teams or outside the group
Continuously develop and challenge processes within the campus service Finance & Treasury team to identify efficiency/standardization potentials and roll out best practices
Coordinate and manage internal and external audits in alignment with compliance and tax department
Secure SOX compliance and accounting policy application within the scope of responsibility of the team
Qualifications
People management skills are a prerequisite
Ability to work under pressure – while driving own initiatives, managing a large team that covers a broad variety of services across different divisions and franchises
Deep sense of urgency (setting priorities and identifying urgencies/taking actions immediately where required)
Profound understanding of US GAAP and local Swiss accounting standards
Commercial / University education
Excellent technical and analytical skills / mathematical skills
3 - 5 years experience in a similar job
Business fluent in German and English
Proficient user of the MS Office applications (esp. Excel), as well as SAP
The position is based in Zug, Switzerland and requires regular travel to Schaffhausen and Berne.
