Presentation


A postdoctoral position funded by the Swiss National Fund is available in the laboratory of Prof. Yves Poirier at the Department of Plant Molecular Biology, University of Lausanne. This position is available starting February 1, 2019 or soon thereafter, and can be extended to 4 years. The research project is centered towards using the ectomycorrhizal fungi Laccaria bicolor as a model system to study important fungal genes involved in phosphate acquisition and transfer from the soil to the plant root. The project involves the application of genetics, molecular and cell biology. Expertise in the study of mycorrhizal fungi will be an asset. This position is mostly research oriented. It is also associated to teaching duties of under graduate and graduate biology students.

Contract length : 1 year, renewable 


Activity rate : 100%

Your qualifications


PhD in plant molecular biology or mycology. Experience with mycorrhizal fungi is an asset
