Hutman Diagnostics AG is a start-up, in vitro diagnostics company, developing a platform for the detection and screening of infectious diseases. We are looking for a curious, enthusiastic and motivated individual, to support operations in the research lab.

You will work in a dynamic and motivated lab team, aiding the scientists and be responsible for the day-to-day up keep of the laboratory.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitating orders and deliveries
  


• Communicating with suppliers
  


• Independent execution of quality control in the laboratory
  


• Perform calibrations on devices
  


• Testing of new production material (incoming inspections)
  


• Perform in-process controls during bulk material creation   
  


• Following and creating SOPs
  


• Performing PCR tests
  


• Working with biological materials (blood, urine, saliva, tissue)
  


• Working with bacterial pathogens under aseptic conditions
  


• Close cooperation with the development and production groups
  


• Collaborate as necessary with other departments including project management, Quality & Regulatory Affairs and external suppliers
  

Education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology or related field 
  


• Knows basic principles, methods and practices used within the company
  


• Experience in the regulated medical environment (IVDD, ISO 13485) and laboratory and test automation
  


• Very accurate and clean working and knowledge of GLP / GMP
  


• Experience working in a start-up environment
  


• Excellent command of German and English and can write in a clear and concise fashion
  


• IT user knowledge (MS Office, Filemaker Pro )
  


• Precise, people orientated, team player
