Treasury Capital Markets Sr Analyst

Expedia's Treasury Capital Markets team is responsible for managing cash and investments in over 50 currencies across multiple corporate entities. In addition, the Treasury Capital Markets team manages foreign currency exposures resulting from over $88 billion of yearly transactions in over 75 countries. The team works closely with tax, accounting, and legal to ensure liquidity and funding for the global business entities.

As a Sr. Analyst on the Capital Markets team, you will play a meaningful role in the planning, implementing, and execution of liquidity management and investment strategies across Expedia Group. You will be a good fit for this role if you are inquisitive, think critically, and have a passion for cash management and investing.

What you’ll do:

• Daily cash positioning to support the payment processing, treasury and cash functions performed by our payment processing entity


• Intercompany funding and analysis


• Cash reporting and forecasting


• Recommend and execute investment decisions 


• Liaison among our banking partners and internal and external groups such as A/P, payroll, accounting, legal counsel, and advisors


• Assist with administering data systems including the treasury workstation


• Review and analyze bank fees


• Work closely with our payment processor entity to manage foreign currency exposure risk


• Support other treasury and finance projects as needed


• Other responsibilities may include acquisition integration, streamline bank account structures, and processes and procedure improvements

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree - Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting, preferred


• Ability to effectively communicate in English


• 2+ years Treasury experience in a multinational corporation


• Ability to work independently with an aim to exceed expectations


• Understanding of accounting concepts


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Ability to design, develop, implement, and improve processes


• Strong organization skills for handling multiple projects and prioritizing deliverables


• Ability to remain flexible in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
