Worldwide Global Demo and the Customer Innovation Center are part of the HPE WW presales organization.

This organization is responsible for:

• Demo creation for all HPE sales force and partner


• Proof Of Concept (POC) and Benchmark


• Customers events on solution, technologies and products


• Discovery and exploration


• Unique environment to experience the HPE strategy in action

The DataCenter Services (DCS) team is operating IT services in international context with some datacenters in Houston (US), Singapore and Geneva.

As Presales Technology Consultant in this DCS team you are operating datacenters as well as

• Setting-up and managing the datacenter infrastructure: network, storage, servers, management tools


• Setting-up POCs and demonstration technical environment


• Present and run technical session with customers on the HPE IT infrastructure products


• Provide recommendation on technical set-up

Education and Experience required:

• Technical degree or equivalent experience


• > 8 years of IT datacenter experience

Technical Competencies:

• Expert in networking (LAN and WAN)


• Knowledge of HPE’s solutions


• Deep knowledge of infrastructure products


• Technical capabilities in datacenter IT management, storage, SAN, virtualization, Linux/Windows OS and administration


• Knowledge of datacenter tools like Itop, Nagios, Centreon, HPE products


• Up to date knowledge of technical innovations and trends and their impact on solving customer business problems


• Hands-on skills with datacenter management center area

Soft skills:

• Like working on innovative environment and strong interest on new technologies


• Dynamic, pro-active, autonomous and rigorous


• Strong team player with local and virtual team members


• Ability to fullfill the pre-sales aspect of the role


• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills


• Capacity to operate in complex and evolving environment


• Multi-tasking and well-organized to focus on the right priorities


• Fluent in English language (written and spoken)
