Our new innovative IT services organization is HPE PointNext.  We have the expertise to advise, integrate, and accelerate our customers’ outcomes from their digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for verifying and implementing the detailed technical design solution to the problem as identified by the Project/Technical Manager


• Implementation of complex solutions based on Cloud technologies and environments.


• Collaborate with the solution architect, colleague and customer to develop and implement detailed project work breakdown structures.


• Develop and implementation of new Cloud installations, designs, and migrations procedures


• Provide advanced technical consulting and advice to others on proposal efforts, solution design, system management, tuning and modification of solutions


• Collect and determine data from appropriate sources to assist in determining customer needs and requirements


• Assess of specific technologies, strategies and implementation


• Identify and address technical or operational risks

Education and Experience Required:

• 5 to 10 years industry experience, Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience


• Real life experience in Cloud project delivery, including the design phase

Knowledge and Skills:

• Enterprise Cloud technical consulting experience.


• Experience on multi-cloud technologies /environments (AWS, VMware, Openstack, Azure/Azure Stack, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc.)


• Cloud deployment models (public, hybrid, private) understanding and Hybrid Cloud Management.


• Cloud services and technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, CaaS) with emphasizes on portal and automation tools.


• Automation and orchestration tools experience, security, networking, monitoring and operations knowledge.


• Certifications are preferred.


• Ability to understand the customer's technical requirement or opportunity and to implement an IT solution that appropriately addresses the technical needs.


• Good customer influence and negotiation skills.


• Teamwork in a consultancy team in the completion of technical architectures and implementations.


• Understands and applies information system or operational solution related modeling methods and tools.


• Can validate/evaluate if an information system meets technical requirements and specifications.


• Ability to write Statements of Work for solutions that span multiple technologies.

Business Acumen:

• Identifies risks and challenges that occurred in similar projects with other customers.


• Developed technical specifications that reflect customer requirements in the technology


• Ability to gain knowledge of how industry uses IT to address technical challenges such as technical standards and infrastructure, trends and roadmaps.


• Able to design and present impact messages to customers management level

German and English language speaking and writing skills.
