As the Manager Corporate Strategy you provide dedicated support to the Global Head of Strategy in the achievement of the strategic objectives. You lead strategic business projects for the Novartis senior management, with the aim of maximizing economic value and securing future competitive advantage.



Your responsibilities will include:



• Support Global Head of Strategy and Strategy Directors in driving their projects/work streams

• Independently lead 1 project/ work stream at any time from project scoping, creating content and managing of stakeholders to generating insights, and preparing outputs which enable informed decisions

• Lead and perform complex quantitative data analysis and financial modelling

• Actively contribute to annual 5-year strategic planning process External and Internal environment

• Monitor industry trends and assess their impact on the Novartis corporate strategy • Proactively scan the competitive environment for opportunities and threats and report findings back to the Global Head of Strategy

• Draw relevant, actionable insights from external databases

• Lead and support benchmarking of our performance in relation to industry Stakeholder collaboration

• Develop network of functional experts and strategy managers across NovartisMinimum requirements• Graduate degree and/or MBA degree

• Proficiency in English, other languages such as German and/or French a plus

• Deep knowledge of the Pharma industry

• 3-4 years of finance or consulting experience, especially in quantitative data analysis and modelling (e.g. M&A, investor relations, private equity)
