Image Processing Software Engineer

Job-description:
As development engineer in the timing & scoring system development department, you are in charge of the concept and
development of video systems for judgement of timing performances during sports competitions. You work in close
collaboration with our sports managers and the sports federation to design and validate the new photofinish and video
judgement which will be used in the next Olympic Games.

Responsibilities:

• Concept and development of photofinish and video judgement systems


• Ensure the highest quality and reliability of the software, and support continuous improvement


• Support of the technology and validations during sport competitions


• Strong involvement in innovation for video tracking in sport


• Small Project Management

Your profile:

• Must possess a Bachelor (BS) or Master (MS) in Image processing Software Engineering, or equivalent

Qualifications:

• Object-oriented programming (C++)


• Knowledge in image acquisition, processing and analysis: event detection, object recognition within images, video
  sequences


• Experience in Matlab


• Knowledge in C# is an asset


• Strong communication skills in English, for reporting internally and externally


• Self-organized, able to prioritize according to deadlines


• Resilient and able to operate in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment


• Available for travels in Switzerland and abroad (approx. 10% of the time)

Language skills:

• French: excellent


• English: excellent
