These activities will include typical project Quality Assurance tasks for space projects.

Your responsibilities



  • Main responsible of all Quality related topics regarding our production site in Emmen

  • Main project interface to customers and subcontractors for quality and product safety

  • Prepare, review and approve project documentation including documentation from suppliers

  • Perform operational CM tasks (e.g. ABCL, CIDL, Configuration checks etc)

  • Support projects teams in terms of RAMS updates (e.g. PFMECA)

  • Maintain the PA project relevant documentation (e.g. PA Plan, KIP & MIP Plan, PMP Lists, etc.) and integrate them, w.r.t. development phase, when necessary

  • Lead/participate to internal and external Audits in agreement with LQ Manager

  • Perform and support hardware inspections during manufacturing and tests, as well as incoming and outgoing inspections

  • Manage NCRs and ensuring proper corrective/preventive actions (NC process ownership)

  • Lead failure investigations including related documentation

  • Manage approval processes for components deviating from applicable standards (RFD and RFW)

  • Lead the delivery review board (DRB / HAR) and similar type of meeting (e.g. Pedigree review) with the customer and internal representatives

  • Create and sign the CoC

  • Support the continuous improvement and cross-project transfer of experience for Quality topics


Your profile



  • University degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or adequate professional experience

  • Several years of experience in Product Assurance/Quality Management in a highly regulated environment. Working experience in Space and/or Aeronautic Industry is a strong asset

  • Configuration Management knowledge

  • Knowledge of EN9100, ECSS, NASA and MIL standards

  • Ability to quickly understand and analyse technical products/systems and their function

  • Ability to work autonomously but as a part of a team; Good communication skills

  • Very good command of English and German is a must. Other languages (French/Italian) are a plus
