You will be part of key projects such as the Automatic Exchange of Information and represent your field of expertise throughout the bank. You will have direct contact with the business and report directly to the Head of Tax Compliance.Responsibilities
Analyse and review wealth structures of our clients from the tax compliance perspective
Check and assess plausibility of tax opinions, coordinate with international tax law firms and consultants
Update and maintain current tax compliance procedures and implement new control mechanisms
Timely and adequate tax compliance reviews (risk management)
Promote awareness and deliver training to business units on tax law developments
Support in review and establishing of policies and forms related to the expert field
Implementation and analysis of system requirements for the department
Profiles
Bachelor or Master degree in economics.
Internship at a bank and FATCA-experience is an asset; two to three years of experience in the field of (international) taxation is also an asset
Team spirit but also ability to work independently and under pressure. Service oriented and a good communicator
Fluent in English and German, knowledge of French is an asset
Reliable with a good sense of order and analytical thinking
proactive, motivated and able to justify opinions
Understanding of IT matters and ability to support technical specification of new regulatory requirements
