The RBS Private Banking entities offer high net worth clients a comprehensive range of private banking, wealth planning and investment management services through the Coutts and Adam & Co brands as well as to designated NatWest and RBS clients in the UK and internationally. To anticipate and respond to changing client demand, there is a growing emphasis on delivering a full range of innovative digital services.

Role Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced cards, payments and banking specialist to strengthen our team in Banking and Lending, Private Banking Services. Candidates are expected to provide strong technical skills in requirements gathering, software development and solution design. Candidates require experience with customisation of the Avaloq Banking Suite. Focus will be to implement innovative solutions and ways of making transactions more seamless for our clients.

Key Accountabilities:

• Design skills to map out end-to-end customer journeys


• Avaloq parameterisation, development of software changes


• Business analysis for change requests and incidents


• Close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose end-to-end functionality


• Incident management, 3rd level support


• Technical testing activities during release cycles


• Candidate will take a shared responsibility for successful implementation of Projects

Skills:

• Software customisation and parameterisation skills with Avaloq (including customised modules)


• Strong knowledge/experience of AMI is preferred


• Solid knowledge of PL/SQL


• Strong integration experience with 3rd Party payment providers (scheme, networks, digital, etc.)


• Analytical, structured and efficient way of working


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


• Experience with Payments, Cards and Banking Avaloq modules


• Strong English, German beneficial

Required Experience:

• General software programming experience (agile and waterfall deliveries)


• Foundation knowledge of UK Banking and Regulations and/or payments & cards


• Avaloq parameterisation and development of customised functionality


• A solid technical understanding of end to end workflow processes
