In this role, you will provide legal leadership through pro-active, in-depth, business-focused advice to the entity, as well as implementing initiatives and processes to keep and set standards and continue a culture of quality, integrity, ethical behaviour and responsibility. As Head Legal, you will be a member of the Sandoz Leadership Team (SLT) and provide strategic direction and thought leadership in various areas of the law relevant to the SLT in Switzerland, directly counselling associates at all levels in this entity. The Head Legal is also responsible to analyse and identify legal risks and implications, keeping the management informed of all new laws and regulations that may have potential implications for the entity. Head Legal also supports entity in IP matters and closely collaborates with internal and external IP lawyers.Minimum requirementsGraduate degree in Law / Admission to the (Swiss) Bar German fluent, English fluent, French fluent Minimum 5 years professional experience in Legal function, of which idealIy 3-5 years in a law firm with exposure to the Swiss healthcare and pharma law. A generalist with a background in commercial law or commercial (including IP) litigation who can analyse complex legal issues, can master Legal Excellence Standards and who is committed to high performance with high integrity.
